This Saturday, July 16th, is the Sun and Sand Police & Fire 5K Run/1 Mile Walk which raises money for the survivors of police and fire who died in the line of duty. The 5K begins at 8 AM Saturday morning at The Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge in North Wildwood. Racers will go from the Elks to the Lifeguard Station on 15th and JFK Boulevard and back. Registration is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile walk. The first 300 participants will receive t-shirts and awards will be given out to the winners. Whether you’re 6 years old or 60 years old, EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
